Discover Facta Rosé

A Metodo Classico of rare uniqueness, born from the encounter between the quality of Cantina Dellerba and the vision of 'L Rabadan.

It is produced from a very rare and precious grape variety, the Doux d'Henry , native to the Pinerolo area, which here finds a new and fascinating expression.

In the glass, it presents itself as a rosé with a refined copper color , elegant and deep. The 36-month aging on the lees gives it complexity and finesse, celebrating the first vintage of this extraordinary project.

After tirage , disgorgement took place in February 2025 and was followed by 9 months of final rest in the bottle, to achieve a harmonious and precise balance.

Produced in just 400 numbered bottles , this Metodo Classico is made exclusively by Cantina Dellerba for 'L Rabadan : a collector's item, designed for those seeking an exclusive and unrepeatable wine.

The story behind the name

🍇 Why the Doux d'Henry?

Because it's a grape variety deeply rooted in this land: cultivated for centuries only in the Pinerolo area, it has now almost disappeared. Legend has it that the name was given in honor of Henry II , when Pinerolo first came under French rule.

Fragile, complex to grow and difficult to pollinate, the Doux d'Henry was gradually abandoned.

Cantina Dellerba, however, has chosen to save and enhance it , transforming it into the protagonist of a sparkling wine of great character and quality — destined to probably become the flagship of their production.

📚 Why "Facta"?

The name pays homage to Luigi Facta , lawyer and Prime Minister until 1929, a true Pinerolo native.

He lived his entire life in the Art Nouveau villa on the Santa Brigida hill: practically next door to the Dell'Erbas and right in front of the vineyard where the Doux d'Henry grows today.

“Facta” in Latin means facts , enterprises : a perfect reference to the history of the area and the spirit that animates this project.

🍷 Our impressions

Expectations were high, and they were largely confirmed.

It is a fresh, elegant and particular bubble, with a vibrant and persistent citrus acidity, and a clean finish that immediately invites the next sip.

We paired it, almost by chance, with some takeout sushi, which turned out to be a simply perfect pairing. And we finished the dinner with fresh blueberries from the Dai Dell'Erba farm, finishing the glass with great satisfaction.
